Job Duties
- lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives for multiple store units
- achieve sales performance goals by holding associates accountable for in-store merchandising execution
- lead selling programs and drive KPI results supporting the omni-channel experience
- create engaging customer-centric environment and motivate team members
- conduct one-on-one meetings and 30-60-90-day check-ins for new hire onboarding and development
- manage workforce activities including staffing schedules and policy adherence
- develop associates' skills through coaching and product knowledge sharing
- oversee store financial targets and ensure effective business operations
- implement marketing strategies and social media plans to boost brand awareness
- manage inventory, merchandise flow, and cash handling procedures
- conduct store level inventory process and resolve discrepancies
- execute opening and closing procedures
- maintain awareness of competition and implement counter strategies
- comply with all company policies and state regulations
