Job Duties
- Processing freight
- Assisting with taking price changes and markdowns
- Balancing register according to company policy
- Calling out prices for customers during transactions
- Bagging merchandise efficiently
- Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
- Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
- Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Providing proper customer service including greeting, fitting room policy enforcement, and thanking customers
- Following all safety procedures
- Maintaining a professional and neat appearance including wearing a name tag
- Assisting management in merchandising sales floor
- Assisting management with company policy tasks
- Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
- Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures including preventing shoplifting and cash losses
- Reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty
- Following all operational policies
