Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial roles preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety standards
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Ensure the best possible experience for each guest within Town Pump operating guidelines
- Complete required company and brand-specific training and certifications
- Follow grooming and appearance guidelines and wear uniform and nametag while on shift
- Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, and weather-related hazards
- Gather linens from guest rooms for housekeeping staff and assist room attendants with cleaning
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock are secure
- Practice safe working conditions under OSHA guidelines including Bloodborne Pathogens
- Perform duties in other departments such as front desk and housekeeping as needed
- Comply with confidentiality expectations for guest and company information
- Complete tasks and assignments on the daily Porter Checklist
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas to operational standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping
- Comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos
