Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform light physical work involving standing, walking, lifting and repetitive motions
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills using logical or scientific thinking
  • Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages
  • Must be able to report, write or edit articles for publication
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations
  • Must be able to interact effectively with customers, employees and community members

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related area or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with internet marketing and pay-per-click advertising
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop original content for social media platforms
  • Experience in event coordination and community engagement

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
  • Create and execute various digital promotions and marketing campaigns
  • Maintain a detailed digital content calendar
  • Develop original content for day-to-day social media posts
  • Assist area stores with management of social media content and individual store promotions
  • Work with marketing director and vendors to build local sponsorships and community programs
  • Assist in pre-event planning and day of event execution for various community and sponsorship related events
