Job Duties
- Lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives across multiple store units
- achieve sales performance goals by holding associates accountable for in-store merchandising execution
- lead selling programs and drive related KPI results
- support the omni-channel customer experience
- conduct one-on-one meetings to understand team motivations and aspirations
- develop and maintain a comprehensive team bio book
- perform 30-60-90 day check-ins with new team members
- conduct workforce management activities including scheduling and reconciling punches
- ensure adherence to company policies and state regulations
- represent the company professionally in all interactions
- follow procedures for product transfers and inventory documentation
- analyze staffing levels and partner with leadership for adjustments
- provide technical and product knowledge coaching
- analyze skill gaps and implement coaching strategies
- achieve or exceed store financial targets
- ensure execution of product merchandising, marketing, and POP standards
- partner with marketing to plan and monitor social media strategy
- ensure timely store opening and closing
- manage stock inventory levels and review merchandise flow
- follow cash handling and sales processing policies
- execute company initiatives and requested activities
- maintain awareness of competition and develop counter strategies
- conduct store inventory process and investigate discrepancies
- lift, push, or pull 50-plus pounds
- ensure customer-centric store environment
