Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of retail or management experience
- Completion of Rent-A-Center Store Manager Development Program during training period
- Computer literacy and proficiency in store operation applications
- Valid state driver's license and good driving record
- Willingness to drive company vehicles
- Ability to work full-time with a consistent schedule

- Associate's degree or higher preferred

Job Duties
- Set daily and weekly sales goals related to store sales activities
- Oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities
- Approve rental agreements
- Monitor planned results for sales as measured by revenue and growth
- Oversee coworkers' collection activities and follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention
- Approve customer commitments
- Provide leadership and training to ensure compliance with collections procedures
- Monitor and achieve store profits through effective resource management
- Ensure compliance with company policies
- Protect company assets through expense management
- Oversee and control inventory, product ordering, pricing, and cash handling
- Ensure store security
- Resolve customer problems and complaints quickly
- Oversee and provide training and development for all coworkers
- Schedule and organize daily activities and goals
- Recruit, hire, and maximize retention of coworkers
- Manage direct coworkers and train for exceptional customer service
