Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of retail or management experience
  • Completion of Rent-A-Center Store Manager Development Program during training period
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in store operation applications
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record
  • Willingness to drive company vehicles
  • Ability to work full-time with a consistent schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 5 years retail or management experience
  • Completion of Rent-A-Center Store Manager Development Program during training
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in store operation applications
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record

Job Duties

  • Set daily and weekly sales goals related to store sales activities
  • Oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities
  • Approve rental agreements
  • Monitor planned results for sales as measured by revenue and growth
  • Oversee coworkers' collection activities and follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention
  • Approve customer commitments
  • Provide leadership and training to ensure compliance with collections procedures
  • Monitor and achieve store profits through effective resource management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies
  • Protect company assets through expense management
  • Oversee and control inventory, product ordering, pricing, and cash handling
  • Ensure store security
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints quickly
  • Oversee and provide training and development for all coworkers
  • Schedule and organize daily activities and goals
  • Recruit, hire, and maximize retention of coworkers
  • Manage direct coworkers and train for exceptional customer service
