Job Requirements
- Education relevant to retail management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in retail or related fields
- Proven leadership ability
- Strong understanding of merchandising and customer service standards
- Ability to organize and delegate tasks
- Compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to foster a positive team culture
- Proficiency in performance management and coaching techniques
Job Qualifications
- Three plus years of experience in the retail industry
- Knowledge of commodity sales, gross margin, and inventory management
- Related experience in the Co-operative Retailing System is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective leadership skills with a focus on team member engagement
- Excellent organizational skills
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Honest, respectful, and service oriented
Job Duties
- Develop business strategies that support our retail goals and guiding statements
- Organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Gas Bar while achieving budgeted goals
- Provide superior leadership through coaching, development, management of performance, and feedback to Team Members
- Drive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the team and operations
- Ensure that company policies, best practices, training courses, and certifications are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure the Gas bar meets our high standards in customer service
- Comply with all legislative and environmental regulations and standards
- Lead a culture of safety through coaching, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Communicate with key stakeholders both in the organization and community
- Other duties as required
