Job Duties
- Explores growth opportunities within creameries
- responsible for incorporating and developing CSC products to be offered at all BYU Creamery locations
- maintains safety and training standards within the scope of operations
- directs and coordinates product mixes and pricing points throughout the creamery operations
- communicates with all employees to ensure training and standard operating practices are in place
- regularly meets with direct reports to ensure sales and customer satisfaction goals are met or exceeded
- directs Creamery management on employment and disciplinary matters
- studies and recommends strategic directions to maximize revenue, efficiencies, product cost savings, and inventory turnover
- keeps all trademark and licensing agreements current and valid
- ensures every customer has an exceptional experience that encourages repeat visits
- provides feedback and additional training to employees to address customer service challenges
- upholds cleanliness, sanitation, inventory, and equipment standards
- ensures all employees are trained in food safety compliance
- oversees and directs training and customer service programs executed by area managers
- conducts regular inspections to maintain department efficiency and customer service standards
- develops customer feedback channels to maintain communication and satisfaction
- maintains positive relationships with customers, student organizations, campus departments, vendors, and church units
- meets with Managing Director to create, review, and approve area budgets
- monitors operations with Managing Director to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
- ensures adherence to budgets
- reviews financial statements and directs course of action to improve operations
- facilitates preparation of budgetary forecasts and reports
- coordinates with Accounting for inventory reconciliation accuracy
- reviews product mix, labor, sales, and service reports for transparency
- develops marketing plans and schemes to maximize revenue
- approves marketing plans for Creameries
- analyzes marketing strategy outcomes
- coordinates with Coca-Cola for specific marketing strategies for Creameries
