Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in food and beverage or retail management preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Capability to give constructive feedback and conduct performance reviews
  • Understanding of labor management and store operations
  • Ability to build effective teams and foster positive work culture

Job Duties

  • Be responsible for staffing store operations and supporting a team environment including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Communicate clearly and concisely to maintain store operations and create a great work environment for both up and down levels of management
  • Show willingness to improve and receive feedback and provide respectful, constructive feedback to others, including upper management
  • Ensure all customers have a hospitable and welcoming experience by coaching the team on how to engage with customers to exceed their expectations
  • Model a customer-focused attitude and a strong work ethic on the floor
  • Develop the team by giving honest, constructive feedback, annual performance reviews, and holding each person equally accountable to store expectations
  • Promote and maintain a respectful work environment where all employees and customers are treated with respect and dignity
  • Ensure all employees adhere to legal and operational requirements
  • Build thoughtful schedules for store operations balancing individual and team needs and meeting store labor targets for efficiency
  • Manage daily operations smoothly by being timely and accurate with schedules, ordering, inventory management, time and attendance, key performance measures
  • Drive the operational efficiency of the store by finding ways to solve problems for the team, improve customer service, and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the area manager to develop a shared vision for the store, including store sale goals, team morale, deployment and scheduling strategy
  • Work to achieve store goals set by the area manager and director of operations
