Job Requirements
- Meet minimum specialized experience or education qualifications
- Submit a resume and transcripts demonstrating qualifications
- Comply with physical requirements including lifting up to 40 pounds
- Meet the federal time-in-grade requirements
- Be able to perform prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
- Complete an online questionnaire assessing core competencies
- Provide foreign education equivalency documentation if applicable
Job Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level
- Master's or equivalent degree in business administration, public administration, or related fields
- Progressive graduate-level education in relevant disciplines
- Knowledge of retail procurement and distribution methods
- Experience managing a retail food store or department
- Ability to interpret and apply retail policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Plan and direct daily commissary retail operations
- Coordinate inventory procurement, merchandising, and distribution processes
- Supervise and manage retail staff and departmental functions
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and retail operating standards
- Monitor financial performance and prepare operational reports
- Provide technical advice on grocery, meats, produce supplies, and front-end operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and agency requirements
