Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail management preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive customer-focused environment
  • Proficiency in analyzing sales and operational metrics
  • Capability to manage payroll and scheduling effectively
  • Commitment to uphold safety and company policies
  • Flexibility to perform various operational tasks including inventory and maintenance

Job Duties

  • Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the Five Below service model that empowers crew to say yes to customers
  • Anticipate customer needs and create an amazing store environment
  • Lead execution and maintenance of merchandising and operational standards consistent with brand standards
  • Hire and engage talented employees to be at the right place and time
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, appreciation, and connectivity among employees
  • Provide training, coaching, and consistent feedback to inspire accountability
  • Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for employee coaching, counseling, and relations
  • Manage payroll budgets and crew schedules balancing financial responsibility with customer expectations
  • Analyze business results daily, weekly, and monthly to drive performance and decision-making
  • Oversee receiving, stocking procedures, and physical inventory compliance
  • Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stockroom organization
  • Ensure compliance with Five Below Standard Operating Procedures and corporate communications
  • Achieve results adhering to company policies and all applicable laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned
