Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of retail management experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
  • Capacity to maintain calmness and professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the application of the Five Below service model
  • Anticipate the needs of the customer and create an amazing store environment
  • Lead execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards
  • Hire and engage talented employees with the necessary skills at the right place and time
  • Ensure people feel cared for and connected, and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity
  • Provide training, coaching, and consistent feedback to inspire accountability
  • Present facts clearly and coach effectively to build trust and respect
  • Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for employee coaching and relations
  • Maintain a safe environment for customers and crew
  • Execute a talent plan that attracts and retains quality candidates
  • Foster career growth through development planning and coaching
  • Develop internal and external peer networks for recruitment and succession planning
  • Analyze business results and leverage metrics to drive performance
  • Manage payroll budgets and crew schedules balancing financial responsibility and customer needs
  • Ensure execution of financial and critical controls
  • Oversee receiving and stocking procedures
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and company standards
  • Monitor merchandise flow and sell-through
  • Perform store maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Review corporate communications and prioritize plans
  • Adhere to all company policies and relevant laws
  • Perform other assigned duties including services.
