Job Requirements
- 1 year’s general management experience in role with financial accountability
- 1 year’s experience in retail and 1 year’s experience supervising ten or more associates or 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s experience supervising ten or more associates
- Current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility for facilities that sell only ammunition
- Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training for facilities that sell firearms
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead large teams
- Compliance with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Bachelor’s degree in business management and leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University preferred
- Experience in mentoring hiring and firing
- Ability to manage performance and deliver results
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of compliance and ethical standards
- Ability to engage with community and promote company initiatives
Job Duties
- Directs and guides members managers and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques by modeling excellent customer service for example tour to teach
- Ensures customer needs complaints and issues are successfully resolved according to company guidelines and standards
- Builds relationships with associates to ensure proper feedback
- Answers questions or provides information to customers and associates
- Drives and ensures the financial performance of the facility by confirming that budgeted sales wages and other expenses are achieved
- Assists the store manager in leading the management team in controlling expenses and wages to ensure expenses are indexed to sales
- Creates and implements plans to improve the financial performance of the facility
