Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
  • Special event production experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure with ability to pivot and deliver on tight timelines
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships with merchants and other internal/external partners
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong presentation/public speaking skills
  • Detail oriented

Job Duties

  • Manage, plan and execute all special events, beauty, fashion, omni, vendor and other related events, store openings and anniversaries
  • Review post-event business performance and recap essential partners
  • Manage resources including budgets, advertising, social content support, communications/PR, marketing and visual requests
  • Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously, adapting quickly to changing business needs and store conditions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all external parties (community partners, freelance resources, etc)
  • Research and create innovative customer experiences for Belk stores that will drive traffic, conversion and increase sales
  • Produce detailed information on corporate sweepstakes, promotions and other programs with legal support
