Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods
  • physical ability to move throughout the store
  • ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • experience in a public retail setting
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • willingness to assist with truck unloading and stocking
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • ability to use ladders and similar equipment when necessary

  • ability to engage diverse age groups and clients

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate events with clients and store team
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • set up and break down events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout
  • promote Rewards and credit card programs
  • assist with Omni-channel processes
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • support store safety and shrink programs
  • perform daily store cleanliness
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • other duties as assigned
