Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry heavy boxes
- ability to use ladders or similar equipment safely
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to engage with customers of all ages
- adherence to company policies and safety standards
- ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stretching

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities like face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and create emergency backup plans
- ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- assist customers in shopping and locating products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- support omni-channel processes such as buy online pickup in store (BOPIS) and ship from store (SFS)
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- support shrink and safety programs and adhere to standard operating procedures
- interact respectfully and positively with customers and co-workers
- cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
