Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in retail or customer service
Good communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes, and access high shelves
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and provide excellent customer service
Must be able to engage with customers of all ages and maintain a positive attitude
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

Experience working with children and children’s events
Retail or customer service experience
Excellent people skills
Strong communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal, and listening
Organizational and interpersonal skills
Creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with customers and co-workers

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities
Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
Communicate event details with clients and team members
Complete administrative tasks including emails, calls, and paperwork
Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
Provide friendly customer assistance in shopping and checkout
Promote rewards programs and assist with credit card enrollments
Support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
Participate in truck unload, stocking, merchandise recovery, and planogram tasks
Adhere to company policies and safety programs
Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms
Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
