Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in retail or customer service
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • ability to move throughout the store and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience working with children and managing events
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • willingness to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • ability to follow standard operating procedures and company policies

Job Duties

  • plan and coordinate events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate effectively with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create and implement backup plans for events
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • assist customers by helping them shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • promote rewards program and enroll customers
  • educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with buy online pickup in store and ship from store processes
  • participate in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram processes
  • maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • perform daily store cleaning activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
