Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children's events
- retail or customer service experience
- good communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
- ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
- ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- ability to engage positively with customers and teammates
- willingness to participate in all store operational functions
- ability to follow safety guidelines and company policies
- ability to handle stressful situations professionally

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create backup or emergency plans as needed
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each event
- help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- engage customers on rewards program and credit card benefits and complete enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure compliance
- interact respectfully and positively with others and project a role model image
- cross train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
- perform other assigned duties as needed
