Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with event planning and coordination
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings when required
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to maintain store cleanliness and adhere to safety standards

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans as needed
  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Assist with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully and positively with guests and coworkers
  • Cross-train in custom framing sales and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
