Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or equipment
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Public retail store experience in a climate-controlled environment
  • Must comply with safety and cleanliness standards
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required in retail and event settings

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform face painting
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and team members and complete administrative tasks
  • Adjust plans and create backup or emergency plans based on client feedback
  • Ensure client satisfaction, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and set up and clean up events
  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and ad set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully with guests and colleagues
  • Cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
