Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or customer service
  • Ability to handle stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift, bend, carry, reach, and use ladders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and early mornings
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks required by retail operations

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • Demonstrate and instruct party participants on craft projects and activities
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust events based on client feedback and create backup plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote Rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in inventory and merchandise recovery
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to company policies and standards
  • Maintain store cleanliness and participate in daily cleaning activities
  • Cross trained in custom framing
