Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • retail or customer service experience required
  • ability to remain standing for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • good communication skills
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages and coworkers
  • organizational and multitasking abilities
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • willingness to follow company policies and safety programs

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages to create fun and creative environments
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and breaking down events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • educate customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • assist with online order processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization tasks
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • comply with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • project a positive image and serve as a team role model
  • cross-train in Custom Framing
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
