Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with ladder or similar equipment
  • Public retail store work environment including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to use standard commercial cleaners and chemicals safely
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Retail or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to provide friendly customer service
  • Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines

  • Willingness to engage with customers and assist with store processes

Job Duties

  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment
  • Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic zones
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and notify supervisor of supply needs
  • Take initiative to identify and clean areas requiring attention
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards
  • Engage customers in rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS)
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance
