Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to stand for long periods
- physical capability to lift heavy boxes and perform bending, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- ability to move throughout the store
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- ability to use standard commercial cleaning chemicals
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- ability to handle cash and follow cash handling procedures
- familiarity with omni-channel retail processes is a plus
- ability to follow safety and operational protocols
- proactive attitude and initiative
- basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards
- collect and dispose of trash
- dust and damp mop floors
- move equipment and products for cleaning and replace correctly
- clean assigned areas using proper materials and equipment
- deep clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways
- keep cleaning equipment neat and notify supervisor of supply needs
- seek out and complete cleaning tasks proactively
- complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
- perform duties following federal, state, and county guidelines
- maintain positive interactions with team members and customers
- project a positive image and role model behavior
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- engage customers on rewards and credit card benefits
- assist with omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
- participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
