Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in deli or food service
  • valid servsafe certification may be waived by deli operations manager
  • valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • ability to maintain sanitation procedures and food quality standards
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • ability to handle basic preventative maintenance and repairs of deli equipment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in deli or food service management preferred
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification preferred
  • ability to conduct training and performance evaluations
  • competency in inventory management and ordering processes

Job Duties

  • assist the store manager in supervisory decisions consistent with company standards policies and procedures
  • assist in planning leadership organization and follow-up with controllable expenses sales expenses sales increases food costs and shortage controls
  • set an exemplary example for co-workers in professionalism attitude and teamwork in customer service and convenience store operations
  • conduct new employee orientation and training
  • promote continued development of employees and document performance and conduct evaluations
  • conduct daily walk-throughs prioritize organize delegate and follow-up on tasks
  • maintain accurate inventories order and maintain deli merchandise and achieve favorable deli metrics
