Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in deli or food service
- valid servsafe certification may be waived by deli operations manager
- valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- ability to maintain sanitation procedures and food quality standards
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- ability to handle basic preventative maintenance and repairs of deli equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in deli or food service management preferred
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent customer service and communication abilities
- knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification preferred
- ability to conduct training and performance evaluations
- competency in inventory management and ordering processes
Job Duties
- assist the store manager in supervisory decisions consistent with company standards policies and procedures
- assist in planning leadership organization and follow-up with controllable expenses sales expenses sales increases food costs and shortage controls
- set an exemplary example for co-workers in professionalism attitude and teamwork in customer service and convenience store operations
- conduct new employee orientation and training
- promote continued development of employees and document performance and conduct evaluations
- conduct daily walk-throughs prioritize organize delegate and follow-up on tasks
- maintain accurate inventories order and maintain deli merchandise and achieve favorable deli metrics
