- previous retail or cashier experience preferred
- ability to lift or lower objects as required throughout your shift
- capable of following basic instructions and interpreting documents
- able to apply abstract principles to perform various complex tasks
- strong comprehension and communication skills in English

Job Duties

- perform cashiering tasks with precision and efficiency
- maintain an organized and tidy work area
- stay knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures
- understand and manage all types of CBC cashiering transactions including cash sales, check sales, non-taxable sales, credit cards, voids and exchanges
- accurately enter all sales and financial transactions in the register
- assist with stocking merchandise and ensuring the store is presentable
- engage customers by suggesting add-on purchases and promoting store specials
- dress neatly and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
- practice security measures to protect company assets
- provide informed responses to customer inquiries over the phone regarding sales, promotions, and inventory
- stay updated on current promotional items and pricing
- maintain inventory control on boots
- check for mismatched boots to ensure quality
- follow company policy for commission sales and validate all sales tickets
- complete other assigned duties as needed
- collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals related to sales metrics
