Job Duties
- Greeting each customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude
- providing prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times
- directing customers to the proper area and providing general information as requested
- ringing up all sales transactions into the cash register and complete sales
- ensuring that each customer receives the proper change and correct receipt for purchase
- following all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card transactions, voids, gift cards, and change Round Up program
- keeping the register area clean and orderly at all times
- answering telephone calls promptly using an established etiquette procedure
- assisting sales floor employees with stocking and recovery
