Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling hand use
- ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other machinery
- may require use of ladders
Job Qualifications
- 6-12 months retail experience
- thorough product knowledge
- working knowledge of merchandising expectations
- compliance with Whole Foods Market quality goals, policies, and procedures
- basic math skills for recipe conversions and modifications
- ability to use point of sale electronic systems

Job Duties
- Measures, mixes, and prepares raw materials according to company specifications and recipes
- Forms, cuts, molds, shapes, and bakes dough
- Monitors cooking completion times and sets heat and humidity temperatures for proof box
- Checks product to ensure it meets Whole Foods Market quality standards
- Ensures temperature, sweep, and sanitation logs are completed
- Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
- works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
- Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers promptly and effectively
- maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
- Follows health and sanitation, weights and measures, and safety procedures
- Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- reports safety hazards and violations immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
