Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in retail store environments preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull loads up to 80 lb
- Ability to operate store equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and pallet jacks
- Must be able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work morning, day, or evening shifts based on store needs
- Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service
Job Qualifications
- Some experience in a retail store preferred
- Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service
- Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines and locations
- Accurate vision
- Ability to read
- Ability to operate various store equipment including mixers, ovens, slicers, pallet jacks, computerized label machines, and others as required
- Basic knowledge of retail store operations helpful
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions such as stocking, cleaning and rotating products within the store
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department's cases, prep area, floors, and coolers
- Minimize shrink by resolving all price discrepancies immediately
- Ensure all equipment is treated and maintained properly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures including process, preparation and packaging of food according to company policies and regulations
- Assist workers in other departments when business needs require
- Collaborate with other departments on store-wide sales promotions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
