Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Able to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal and reading small details
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Flexible to work varied shifts including opening and closing times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in retail or customer service setting is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Ability to adapt to store policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact and assist with locating items
- Accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Maintain sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing and completing inventory tasks
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support in all departments including photo and beauty ensuring they are stocked and operational
- Assist pharmacy personnel as needed and work regular pharmacy shifts for growth
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
