Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of retail store experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry loads up to 80 pounds
- Ability to operate store equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, slicers, and pallet jacks
- Flexibility to work morning, day, or evening shifts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Some experience in a retail store preferred
- Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service
- Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines and locations
- Accurate vision
- Ability to read
- Ability to operate various equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, slicers, pallet jacks, and computerized label machines
- Physical stamina to handle frequent walking, standing, lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and hearing
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions such as stocking, cleaning, and rotating products within the store
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in department cases, prep areas, floors, and coolers
- Minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately
- Ensure all equipment is treated and maintained properly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures including process, preparation and packaging of food in accordance with company policies and all Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Assist workers in other departments when business needs require
- Collaborate with other departments during storewide sales promotions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
