Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently
- visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing computer screens and reading small details
- availability for part-time work approximately 25 hours per week
- ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- willingness to assist in various store departments
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service setting preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- willingness to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
- ability to embrace company values and promote customer-focused culture
- basic math skills for cashier duties
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
- supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development
- embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
