Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details
- availability to work flexible shifts from 4 pm to 12 am including weekends
- ability to meet schedule requirements
- commitment to providing compassionate customer service
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
- ability to perform cashier duties accurately
- ability to support multiple departments within a store
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- giving a warm and friendly greeting to customers and assisting in locating items
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and inventory management
- supporting opening and closing store activities
- providing customer support across departments including photo and beauty ensuring they are stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel including working shifts in the pharmacy
- embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
