Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently
- Visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing computer terminals and inspecting small details
- Willingness to support various store departments and tasks
- Availability for part-time work averaging 4 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to perform cashier duties with accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of inventory management
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
- Giving warm and friendly greetings and helping customers locate items
- Accurately performing cashier duties handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing and managing inventory
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- Assisting pharmacy personnel and working shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
