Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity to perform detailed tasks
- be available to work part-time hours
- willingness to assist in various store departments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care
- giving warm and friendly greetings while maintaining eye contact and offering help locating items
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
- supporting opening and closing store activities as needed
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty and ensuring departments are stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel when needed and embracing new CVS services and loyalty programs
