Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand for sustained periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- Visual acuity to perform tasks involving small details
- Availability for part-time hours around 24 per week
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to provide warm, friendly, and compassionate customer service
- Basic knowledge of cashier operations
- Willingness to learn and support pharmacy staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- Giving a warm and friendly greeting and assisting customers in locating items
- Performing cashier duties accurately handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory
- Supporting opening and closing store activities
- Providing customer support across departments including photo and beauty
- Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed including working shifts in the pharmacy
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
