Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading and visual inspection involving small details
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and care in customer interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- Giving a warm and friendly greeting to customers and assisting with locating additional items
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory management tasks
- Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty and ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development opportunities
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
