Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- close visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts
- willingness to work part-time approximately 29 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in retail or customer service setting preferred
- ability to provide compassionate and attentive customer service
- basic math skills for cashier duties
- capability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to learn and embrace new health services and programs
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- offer a warm and friendly greeting while assisting customers in locating additional items
- accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
- maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
- support opening and closing store activities as needed
- provide customer support across departments such as photo and beauty to ensure they are fully stocked and operational
- assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts for growth opportunities
- promote new CVS services and loyalty programs
