Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years of retail store experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capacity to lift and carry loads up to 80 pounds
- good vision and hearing
- ability to operate retail and kitchen equipment
- willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, days, and evenings
- adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Some experience in a retail store preferred
- ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service
- ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines and locations
- ability to read
- specialized knowledge of retail store operations helpful
- ability to operate equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and pallet jacks
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions such as stocking, cleaning and rotating products within the store
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department's cases, prep area, floors, and coolers
- minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately
- ensure all equipment is treated and maintained properly
- follow all food safety and sanitation procedures including process, preparation and packaging of food in accordance with company policies and all Federal, State, and Local regulations
- assist workers in other departments when the needs of the business require
- collaborate with other departments when inter-departmental or storewide sales promotions warrant
- perform other duties as assigned by management
