Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
- ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity for computer terminal viewing and visual inspection
- availability for part-time work approximately 25 hours weekly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic math skills for cashier duties
- knowledge of customer service principles
- adaptability to a dynamic retail environment
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- giving warm and friendly greetings while assisting customers
- accurately performing cashier duties including cash, check, and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor through restocking shelves and inventory tasks
- supporting store opening and closing activities
- providing customer support to departments including photo and beauty
- assisting pharmacy personnel and participating in career development opportunities
