Job Requirements

At least 16 years of age
Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently
Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading, using a computer terminal, and inspecting small parts
Availability to work part-time hours averaging 29 per week

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for cashier duties
Willingness to support various store departments including pharmacy
Commitment to providing compassionate and customer-focused service
Flexibility to support store opening and closing activities

Job Duties

Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs
Demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
Actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
Giving warm and friendly greetings to customers
Maintaining eye contact and offering assistance locating additional items
Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves and updating pricing
Completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager
Supporting opening and closing store activities
Providing customer support in all departments including photo and beauty
Assisting pharmacy personnel and working shifts in the pharmacy for career development
Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
