Job Requirements
- Must meet Office of Personnel Management qualifications for series 1101
- Provide transcripts if qualifying based on education
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb for prolonged periods
- Capability to lift, push, pull, carry, and handle items up to 40 pounds independently
- Ability to work in variable temperature environments
- Must attest to physical ability through a questionnaire
- Completion of an online application with competency questions
- U.S. citizenship required
- No telework or remote work eligibility
Job Qualifications
- One year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or related work experience indicating the ability to learn required skills
- Or two full years of education above high school at an accredited institution
- Ability to operate electronic checkout systems proficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for prolonged periods
- Knowledge of store operations and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Work independently or as part of a team in assigned retail areas
- Handle, prepare, and stock grocery and produce items
- Operate electronic checkout systems to process customer purchases
- Provide friendly and effective customer service
- Maintain store safety and housekeeping standards
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Assist in store operations to ensure product availability and proper store presentation
