Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright for sustained periods
- ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and computer use
- flexible availability including part-time hours
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- willingness to learn and adapt to new services
- compassion and care in customer interactions
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
- giving a warm and friendly greeting while maintaining eye contact and offering help locating items
- performing cashier duties accurately by handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks
- supporting opening and closing store activities
- providing customer support to departments such as photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- assisting pharmacy personnel and working shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities
- embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs
