Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to remain upright for sustained periods
- ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- good visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and visual inspection
- availability to work part-time hours averaging 20 per week
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion
- focusing on the customer with a warm greeting and assistance
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
- maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing and managing inventory
- supporting opening and closing store activities
- providing customer support across departments such as photo and beauty
- assisting pharmacy personnel and working shifts in pharmacy for growth
- advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
