Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some experience in a retail store preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull loads up to 80 lb
- Ability to operate retail store equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, slicers, pallet jacks, and computerized scales
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work the first shift
- Attention to detail and ability to resolve price discrepancies promptly
- Commitment to adhere to company policies and food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Some experience in a retail store helpful
- Ability to provide courteous and friendly customer service
- Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines and locations
- Ability to read
- Specialized retail store knowledge helpful
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions including stocking, cleaning, and rotating products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in department cases, prep areas, floors, and coolers
- Minimize shrink by ensuring all price discrepancies are resolved immediately
- Ensure all equipment is treated and maintained properly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures including processing, preparation, and packaging of food according to policies and regulations
- Assist workers in other departments as business needs require
- Collaborate with other departments during storewide sales promotions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
