Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently including overhead lifting
- Visual acuity for computer terminal viewing, reading, and inspecting small details
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive customer service
- Basic cash handling skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- Greet customers warmly and offer help locating items
- Perform cashier duties accurately handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintain sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and inventory management
- Support opening and closing store activities
- Provide customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs
