Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Capability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- Close visual acuity to perform detailed activities such as reading and computer use
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Willingness to support various departments and perform diverse tasks within the store environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Capability to perform tasks involving physical activity such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions
- Focusing on the customer with a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating items
- Accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks and credit card transactions following company policies
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and managing inventory
- Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed
- Providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
- Assisting pharmacy personnel including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of career development
- Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
