Job Requirements
- at least 16 years of age
- remaining upright on the feet for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- close visual acuity for detail-oriented tasks
- availability to work part-time hours
- adherence to company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- basic cash handling and cashier experience
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Job Duties
- providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
- focusing on the customer with warm greetings and assistance
- accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- maintaining sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing, and managing inventory
- supporting store opening and closing activities
- providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
- assisting pharmacy personnel during regular shifts
- advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs
