Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to remain upright for sustained periods
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- Close visual acuity for tasks involving a computer terminal, reading, and small detail inspection
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and every weekend
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Meet the physical demands of the role including occasional overhead lifting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for cashier duties
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
- Give warm and friendly greetings while assisting customers in locating items
- Accurately perform cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
- Support opening and closing store activities as needed
- Provide customer support across all departments including photo and beauty, ensuring full stock and operational readiness
- Assist pharmacy personnel during shifts as part of career development
- Advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs to enhance customer experiences
